In this course, participants will be given the foundations needed to understand certain procurement specifics. The course will guide participants through the tangled web of legislation that lies behind the topics of price analysis, cost analysis, negotiating profit and independent cost estimate.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand procurement and price analysis

  • Examine when and why a cost analysis is required

  • Examine negotiating profit

  • Explore creating an independent cost estimate
