Federal cost principles can significantly influence the success of a federal grant. During this presentation we will discuss and share the day-to-day challenges faced when considering and determining cost allowability and the impact on financial performance.

Learning Objectives:

  • Illustrate the four tests of cost allowability

  • Describe the nature of indirect and direct costs

  • Review selected items of common costs
