Grant Manuals: The Backbone of
the Grants Management Office

The grants manual is the key resource for any grant management office. It is a tool that is used from the time you apply for a grant through its closeout. The grant manual must combine the internal functions of an organization and external grantee requirements, which may be different according to the grantee agency.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe the importance of the grant manual in a grants management office

  • Enumerate the most important sections of a grant manual

  • Develop a draft outline of a generic grant manual

Cancellations received one week prior to the event date will be eligible for a NGMA credit or refund. Cancellations received less than one week prior to the event date will be eligible for a full NGMA credit. Credits and refunds are not given for no-shows.
