Subrecipient Monitoring Presented by Glenn McCormick, JD, CGMS

When a primary grant recipient utilizes subrecipients to implement the grant award, they become “pass-through entities” (PTEs) subject to specific regulations in the Uniform Guidance.
There are an array of methods PTEs can use to oversee their subrecipients’ compliance and performance. Many of these tools are already part of the grant award and management process, but other actions and recognizing indicators, can be utilized to effectively monitor subawards. This interactive webinar will discuss practical tips and tools for monitoring subawards. Learning Objectives:
-
Differentiate between subrecipient and contractors
-
Understand the impact of 2 CFR 200 on the Pass-through Entities responsibilities for monitoring subrecipients
-
Understand how to conduct a pre-award risk assessment
