Disaster Relief Webinar  August 15, 1:00pm EST

Disaster Relief Funding:
What It Is and How to Spend It?

The U.S. Department of Education has established a brand new Disaster Recovery Unit to help States and districts experiencing natural disasters - and those receiving impacted students. Programs like Emergency Impact Aid and Emergency Aid to Restart School Operations received $165 million in emergency supplemental appropriations earlier this year. But the legislation on these topics is not particularly clear, and the Department of Education has released limited guidance on this topic.

To find out what these programs do, and if you may be eligible for funds, tune into Brustein & Manasevit's webinar on disaster relief coming up on August 15th. The webinar will cover the basics of the disaster relief programs, where they come from, what kinds of expenses they cover, and what to look for when using these funds.
