OMB’s Memo M-18-24 on Grant Recipient Burden: What it Means for Grant Makers
Recorded webcast presented by Jeff Myers, Senior Director, REI Systems and Rujuta Waknis, Grants Offering Lead, REI Systems
OMB Memo M-18-24, issued September 5th, is designed to help reduce burden on grant recipients, so more funding can go to mission purposes. But it does so by making some new, different requirements on federal grantors. In this webinar, grant management experts from REI Systems will provide an overview of what needs to change, and offer ideas for federal agencies on how to most effectively make those changes. Since the GREAT Act is making rapid progress through Congress, this webinar will also address interactions between the OMB Memo and the GREAT Act from the perspective of federal grant managers. Learning Objectives:
- Understand key features of OMB Memo 18-24, and what changes it will require
- Understand options and strategies for how to make those changes
- Understand how OMB’s M-18-24 directive interacts with likely legislation (the GREAT Act)
In order to be awarded the full CPEs, you must be present and you must sign in and also sign out on the attendance sheets at the registration desk.
