2026 AGT Call for Presenters

Be a presenter at the biggest grants management event of the year!
2026 Annual Grants Training | March 22-25, 2026 | Washington, D.C. Deadline to apply is October 7, 2025
NGMA is now accepting applications to present at the 2026 Annual Grants Training (AGT). AGT attendees have varying degrees of knowledge, skills, and resources. Our goal is to provide presentations which give all attendees the opportunity to expand their expertise in grants management. Presentations must be educational in nature. Sales pitches, products, and/or marketing programs that promote an organization’s services or products will not be accepted. Applications are accepted on behalf of the individual who submitted the application to present and not the company.
Each session will be 60 minutes, unless otherwise noted.

Session Format
Submit your presentation for one of the following formats:
Lecture - Formal 60-minute presentation given on a specific topic by a single individual, including a speech followed by a Q&A session.
Panel - Formal 60-minute presentation given on a specific topic by a group of 2 to 4 presenters, including a speech followed by a Q&A session.
Case Study - Formal 60-minute presentation based on a specific, real-world example of how a topic looks in practice at an organization.
Workshop - Interactive 60-minute session during which audience members participate in hands-on activities or put skill into action.
Roundtable - Informal 60-minute session during which the speaker facilitates a conversation with attendees on a specific topic. Speaker provides context for the topic and leads the conversation but does not prepare a lecture. No PPT for these sessions.
How To - 30-minute session focused on teaching attendees a specific skill or method in an interactive environment. (Only one speaker permitted.) Topic suggestions for How To sessions include the following, but we are open to any topic which fits the format.

Sector Sessions
NGMA seeks presentations specifically for federal, state and local, tribal, nonprofit, K-12, and higher education sectors. These sessions should be designed to speak to the specific challenges of a grants sector or about a topic that is unique to a sector.
If your application is approved and accepted, please ensure that you can meet the following speaker deadlines:
January 6, 2026 - Submit signed speaker contract, bio, and headshot January 27, 2026- Submit final slide deck
We encourage you to thoroughly review your application and ensure it's complete, clearly written and carefully proofread before submitting. Reviewers will evaluate proposals as final submissions. Submissions with grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, or vague content may be declined.
