Every year there are more and more cases of grant
fraud. Effective grant management is important, but not enough. Grant risk
prevention begins at the beginning of the grant writing process. This inte
ractive session will examine how Grant Writers and Grant Managers can work
together to reduce or eliminate grant risk factors; how Lone Star College i
s using grant writing tools and techniques to reduce risk; and how to use c
ommon grant sections as tools for risk prevention. Lear
