What’s So Great About the DATA Act?

The DATA Act is transforming the accountability and transparency of federal funding. Yet many grant recipients do not understand how the core changes that this legislation and its sister act; the GREAT Act will impact their organizations receiving federal awards. In this LIVE webinar, Lucy Morgan CPA will discuss the key provisions of these two pieces of legislation and lay out a path forward for federal grant recipients.

Learning Objectives:

  • Detail several impacts of the DATA Act and the impending GREAT Act on Federal grant recipients.
  • Observe correlations between open data reporting and increased transparency and accountability.
  • Reflect on how organizations can respond to cross-platform data collection requirements.
